Hull Horror Fest
This is my idea of what a website would be for a horror movie festival featured in Hull. It would include links to tickets and the ability to have your own scripts submitted and shared with the horror fans of the city. this was inspired by other websites for horror festivals, but I tried putting my own spin on it.
I created a website that I feel is both interesting to look at, friendly, inviting and also gets the messages across. I featured buttons that would work as links to various other parts of the website. I also added subliminal messaging such as the term ‘we cannot wait to have you!’ which makes the reader wish to order tickets more, and could possibly push someone to buying a ticket if they were debating. I also added articles such as the top horror movie ranking in order to make the website interesting and keep people on it as long as possible, even if that’s through creating controversy via rankings people may not agree with.
